Green Gardens Trail
An 11.2-kilometre hike through cliffs, meadows, and rocky shores with breathtaking views of sea stacks and ocean vistas. The trail leads to the secluded Green Gardens beach. Seabirds, whales, and other wildlife can be spotted along the way. Moderate to rugged terrain. Suitable for hikers with experience and waterproof footwear.
Gros Morne Mountain Trail
The trail spans 16 kilometres and requires a whole day to complete. It has the second-highest elevation in Newfoundland and Labrador, wandering through boreal forest before ascending to the summit. The panoramic view from the summit is truly inspiring. Not for the faint of heart. The summit trail is typically open from late June to late October.
Black flies are present in Gros Morne, especially in late spring and early summer. Bring insect repellent and protective clothing for trail hiking in June.
